On 18 December in Rome, has signed an agreement ABI (Association of Banks) and consumer groups, under the project named: "Family Plan" . The pact provides for the possibility of suspending the pay the mortgage payments for at least 12 months if the borrower during the period 2009/10 have been subject to particularly negative events: loss of employment, layoffs, onset of death and disabling conditions.
The terms of the agreement, for improvement by individual member banks that decide to accept, are: loans of up to 150,000 € and a maximum annual income of each owner up to 40,000 euro. The request for a moratorium should be put to its lenders (check if your Bank has already signed up) by the next February, will be necessary to show the state income and proof of unfortunate events.
